The Cleveland defense came up with three quarterback sacks in the final minutes of the game to stay on top of the Bainbridge Spartans, winning 28-20. Latrez Darden had two of the final three sacks to seal the deal.

Quarterback Amonte Phillips ran for two touchdowns and threw for another for the Eagles.

The Eagles came out swinging early when junior Zack Brown intercepted the first pass attempt of the game. Cleveland finished two interceptions and two fumble recoveries. But Cleveland was hit with penalty after penalty, having numerous flags lobbed their way in the second half.

Cleveland travels to Foster High School in Tukwila on Friday. Game starts at 7 p.m.
